About this course
Preparing for Arabic GCSE or IGCSE takes more than knowing the language. Students need to understand each paper, practise exam-style tasks and get feedback on their writing and speaking. Our online Arabic GCSE tutors give one-to-one lessons built around the syllabus your student is taking.
Lessons run live on video at times that fit the school day, in the UK and in other countries where GCSE and IGCSE Arabic are taken. Tell us the exam board and we will confirm that a teacher is available for it before you book.

What GCSE and IGCSE Arabic tests
Arabic exams usually assess listening, speaking, reading and writing, so lessons practise all four. Always check your exam board's current specification, and tell us which one your student follows.
- Listening: understanding spoken Arabic in exam-style tasks
- Speaking: answering questions clearly and confidently
- Reading: understanding a range of written texts
- Writing: expressing ideas accurately and in the right form
How the lessons help your student
The teacher plans the lessons backwards from the exam, so every session has a purpose.
- Learn what each paper asks and how marks are earned
- Practise exam-style questions and review answers together
- Improve writing with feedback on accuracy and structure
- Build speaking confidence for the oral exam
- Plan revision in the months before the exam
Start early
Starting several months before the exam gives time to build vocabulary and practise every skill. Students who join close to the exam can still focus on technique and the papers that need the most work.

Questions parents ask
How many lessons a week does a GCSE student need?
It depends on the student's level and the time before the exam. The teacher suggests a plan after the free trial, and you can change the number of lessons per week.
Is IGCSE Arabic the same as GCSE Arabic?
They are separate qualifications with their own specifications. Tell us which one your student takes so the teacher prepares the right material.
Can you tutor students outside the UK?
Yes. We teach students in more than 50 countries and arrange lessons in your time zone.
Which exam boards do you cover?
Ask us before booking and we will confirm that a teacher is available for your exam board and specification.
How does the free trial lesson work?
Send the short form. We contact you by email or WhatsApp to choose a time. Your child meets a teacher in a live lesson, and the teacher checks their level and recommends a course.
What age can my child start?
Every course accepts children from age 3. The teacher adapts the lesson to your child's age and attention span.
Do I need to speak Arabic to help my child?
No. Many parents do not speak Arabic. The teacher guides your child through each lesson and sends you a summary afterwards.
How much do lessons cost?
Plans start from $30 per month. The price depends on lesson length (30, 45 or 60 minutes) and lessons per week. See the pricing page for every plan.
