Quranic Arabic course

About this course

Many children learn to recite the Quran long before they understand what the words mean. Our online Quranic Arabic classes for kids close that gap. In live one-to-one lessons, your child learns the vocabulary, short surahs and simple grammar patterns that appear again and again in the Quran, so recitation starts to carry meaning.

The course works as an Islamic online Arabic course for children, linking the language with faith. It suits Muslim families who want their children to connect with the Quran in its own language. Lessons are taught by native Arabic-speaking teachers, including graduates of Al-Azhar University, and the pace is set by your child, not by a class.

Who this course is for

  • Children who already recite and want to understand
  • Families who want Arabic that connects to the Quran
  • Children who read Arabic and are ready for meaning

What your child will learn

  • Understand the meaning of common Quranic words
  • Learn the meaning of short surahs
  • Build vocabulary that appears again and again in the Quran
  • Notice simple grammar patterns in the verses
  • Connect recitation with understanding
  • Grow love for the language of the Quran

From reciting to understanding

A typical path starts with common Quranic words and the short surahs children already know by heart. The teacher explains each word, shows how it appears in other verses and asks your child to use it in a simple sentence. Over time your child begins to recognise meanings while listening and reciting.

  • Learn the meaning of short surahs word by word
  • Build a core Quranic vocabulary
  • Notice simple grammar patterns such as verbs, pronouns and plurals
  • Connect each lesson with the verses your child recites

Quranic Arabic or Tajweed?

The two courses work well together. Tajweed teaches your child to pronounce and recite correctly. Quranic Arabic teaches what the words mean. Many families start with one and add the other.

Questions parents ask

Does my child need to read Arabic before this course?

Your child should be able to read Arabic letters. If not, start with Arabic for Beginners and add Quranic Arabic later. The free trial lesson helps the teacher recommend the right start.

Can my child learn Arabic and the Quran together online?

Yes. Many students combine Quranic Arabic with Tajweed or with the Fusha course. You can add a second course at any time.

Do you teach Muslim children who live outside Muslim-majority countries?

Yes. We teach families in more than 50 countries, and more than 60% of our students live in the USA and Canada. Lessons are arranged in your time zone.

How is Quranic Arabic different from Tajweed?

Tajweed focuses on correct pronunciation when reciting. Quranic Arabic focuses on understanding the words and their meaning. Many students take both.

How does the free trial lesson work?

Send the short form. We contact you by email or WhatsApp to choose a time. Your child meets a teacher in a live lesson, and the teacher checks their level and recommends a course.

What age can my child start?

Every course accepts children from age 3. The teacher adapts the lesson to your child's age and attention span.

Do I need to speak Arabic to help my child?

No. Many parents do not speak Arabic. The teacher guides your child through each lesson and sends you a summary afterwards.

How much do lessons cost?

Plans start from $30 per month. The price depends on lesson length (30, 45 or 60 minutes) and lessons per week. See the pricing page for every plan.
